AMP Staff to Serve in Industry Leadership Roles in 2024

COLUMBUS, OH: American Municipal Power, Inc. (AMP), is pleased to announce that five AMP employees will serve in a number of important leadership positions within various industry organizations throughout 2024. Each of these individuals has previously served in leadership positions and has done an exemplary job representing the interests of AMP, its Members and public power as a whole.

The following individuals have been elected or re-elected to leadership roles:

  • Lynn Horning, Director of PJM Regulatory Affairs, has been elected to serve as PJM’s Vice Chair of the Members Committee and Chair of the Liaison Committee. Next year, Horning will move into the role of Chair of the Members Committee while serving as Vice Chair of the Liaison Committee.
  • Steve Lieberman, Vice President of Transmission and Regulatory Affairs, was re-elected to serve as the Wholesale Electric Quadrant, Markets/Brokers segment Board of Directors’ Representative at the North American Energy Services Board (NAESB). He was also selected to serve as the National Hydropower Association’s Markets Committee Vice Chair. Additionally, he was approved to serve the balance of the remaining term of Pam Sullivan, AMP Chief Operating Officer and President of AMP Transmission, on the Board of the Transmission Access Policy Study Group (TAPS).
  • Shirley Schultz, Manager of MISO Regulatory Affairs, has been elected MISO Transmission Dependent Utility Sector Alternate Representative to the Advisory Committee.

In addition, several AMP employees who were previously elected to leadership positions will continue to serve in those roles in 2024. They are:

  • Chris Norton, Assistant Vice President of RTO and Regulatory Affairs, will continue to serve as the NAESB Executive Committee Representative for the Wholesale Electric Quadrant, Markets/Brokers Segment.
  • Jeff Riley, Rates and Regulatory Analyst, will continue to serve as the PJM Electric Distributor Sector Representative to the Finance Committee.
