AMP Names New VP of Human Resources & Administrative Services

Columbus – American Municipal Power, Inc. (AMP) recently announced the promotion of Tracy L. Reimbold to vice president of human resources and administrative services.  

Reimbold has been with the organization since June 2016 as assistant vice president of business operations. She came to the organization with a strong municipal government background.

Prior to AMP, Reimbold was finance director for the City of Newton Falls, Ohio, where she supervised all activities of the finance, utility billing, income tax, payroll and accounts payable functions. Additionally, she coordinated hiring/onboarding of new employees and administered payroll, benefits and workers compensation for the city. During this time she was a member of the AMP Board of Trustees, serving as Board Treasurer and chair of the Finance Committee. Reimbold has also held the position of senior accountant for the City of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. She holds a bachelor’s degree in human resource management from the University of Texas at Austin.

In her new position, Reimbold will direct and administer human resources functions, including talent management programs, recruiting, performance and goal management, payroll/compensation, employee benefits, succession planning and developmental programs. AMP currently has approximately 160 full-time employees at its headquarters and generation facilities. Additionally, Reimbold will manage and oversee budgets for all AMP-owned property and vehicles.
