AMP Prairie State Energy Campus Revenue Bonds

The Prairie State Energy Campus is a two-unit, supercritical coal-fired power plant and adjacent mine in southern Illinois.

The plant, which reached full commercial operation in 2012, is designed to have a net rated capacity of approximately 1,582 megawatts (MW). AMP is the largest equity owner of the facility at 23.6 percent, which translates to 368 MW. Sixty-eight AMP member communities participate in the project.
